Gift Card Policy

  • Sanctuary Spa at Jeffrey Ridha MD requires gift cards/gift certificates to be presented at the time of payment for services.
  • All gift cards sales are final and non-refundable
  • We cannot honor lost or stolen gift cards
  • Available in person, by phone or online
  • $4.00 handling fee for online and telephone gift card purchases
  • Available in any dollar amount
  • Gift box & gift bag included with gift card purchase
  • When received as charitable donations, gift cards are valid Mon-Thurs only.
  • Gift Certificates cannot not be used for tips

Booking / Scheduling

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to hold all appointments.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance during our regular business hours. Any cancellation within 24 hours, as well as no shows, will be responsible for the cost of the reserved treatment. No exceptions will be made for voice mail messages left during night hours. Because of this policy, a valid credit card number is required at time of booking. This policy also applies to gift cards and certificate holders.

Refunds

There will be no refunds for services after check out is complete.

Series Packages

Many of our services may be purchased in series packages of three and six. Series packages are valid for 12 months following the date of purchase. 

Product Return Policy

Spa Retail Purchases

We always hope you love any products that you purchase, but should you be less than happy with your item, we will accept returns on most unopened merchandise purchased within 30 days of purchase with a valid receipt. Unopened items may be returned for a full refund.  However, for any opened spa retail products, refunds are for SPA RETAIL CREDIT ONLY, for future product purchases and must be returned within 14 days of purchasing with at least 75% of the product remaining.
Sanctuary Spa cannot accept returns on open cosmetics, fragrances, worn garments/footwear, sale items, ‘as is’ items, or individual items from a purchased set.

Return Check Policy

A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Check In /Arrival

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment at the Spa. This allows ample time to fill out a client profile necessary to tailor our treatments to your personal needs, and to relax in our relaxation room before beginning your services. 

Late Arrivals

We understand that it can be difficult at times to arrive on time for appointments. Please call and let us know if you will be late. We will try our best to accommodate you; however, out of respect for other clients’ time, we cannot guarantee the full service time if you are late. We will do whatever we can in the time allowed. 

Children and Minors

We love children and would like to provide the best family experience whenever possible. However, our facility is not set up to accommodate young children below the age of 13 without the accompaniment of an adult present. Minors between the ages of 13 and 17 may be treated with parental consent only. We do ask that childcare arrangements be made prior to your visit unless they are receiving a service. This will allow for a more relaxing visit and atmosphere for all of our guests.

Client Property

The spa management accepts no responsibility for the loss of money or valuables of any kind brought to the spa.

Noise

Our spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect all guests right to privacy and serenity. Please maintain conversations at a considerate volume in all treatment areas.

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in the price of services or packages; however, at your discretion, gratuities are graciously accepted by staff.  If you wish to show your appreciation on a job well done or service enjoyed, gratuity envelopes are available at the front desk upon check out. The industry standard ranges from 18-20% of the service fee. Please note that gratuities cannot be placed on gift cards, and must be given in cash, credit card or check.

Cell Phones

In consideration of our guests, we ask that cell phones and electronic devices are turned off or placed on silent mode.

Health Condition

Please advise us at the time of booking of any health condition, allergies, injuries or special needs that may affect your services.

Prices are Subject to Change

We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the latest and greatest treatments available. Although we make every effort to keep our website and spa menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time. We love having you as a client, but we do reserve the right to refuse service at any time, to anyone, for any reason.

Spa Commitment

If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate you and ensure your satisfaction.

Spa Etiquette

A robe and slippers are provided for your convenience.

Lockers are also provided for your convenience. Please keep your personal items with you, or in your locker at all times.  Sanctuary Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Please be aware that not all services may be provided at the time of your scheduled consultation. It will be dependent upon the amount of time needed for the service, availability, and preparations.

Shaving

With regard to laser hair removal, most smaller-area laser hair removal procedures can be performed at time of consultation.  We ask that you please shave the area to be treated prior to any laser hair removal service.

For Moms-To-Be

When booking your appointment, please note that our pre-natal treatments and facials are recommended only for expectant mothers. You must at least be in at least your second trimester to receive a pre-natal massage treatment. It’s important that you feel comfortable and adequately supported by bolsters and pillows during your massage. Please let your therapist know if you are uncomfortable at any time during your treatment.

Walk-ins

We will try to accommodate all walk-in guests, but appointments are preferred. If you do not call ahead or make an appointment, we may not have the time available for your desired treatment.
